What Will I Learn?

What exactly is The Broadway & West End Experience and what will I learn? The Broadway & West End Experience is a 5-day intensive program for aspiring Music Theatre performers aged 13 years and over consisting of: Daily classes in Dance Technique, Choreography, Singing, Acting. Specialist vocal technique with lessons to be conducted with a max of 4 people per lesson. Specialist Dance/ Movement Technique (max 4 people per lesson) Acting through Song Audition Technique Q&As with the Industry’s finest Agent Application Masterclasses Presentation- Learn how to give yourself the best chance by knowing how to present yourself. Culminating with a showcase to perform in front of Australian & International talent agents!  ​ During this incredible 5 day course not only will you gain a deep understanding and invaluable knowledge of the industry from the aspiring performer’s point of view, but you will also, most importantly, gain an insight into the Creative Team’s perspective and hear and understand what it is we truly look for when you walk into the casting/audition room.  ​If you're serious about a career in this business then apply now. Scholarships and Financial Support

Find out more about what financial support and scholarships are available. Financial Hardship Support & Scholarships for Regional & First Nations Applicants and are offered at the discretion of The Artists Lab (Proof of financial hardship is required i.e Centrelink statement and letters of support). ​ During the course, rehearsals and preparation will take place mainly during the day but there may be the occasional early evening call. GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS The Arts Lab are proud to announce they will be offering 3 x FREE/Part scholarships to Regional Applicants and  3 x FREE Scholarships to First Nations applicants currently facing financial hardship between the age of 17 & 35 years of age. (Proof of financial hardship is required i.e Centrelink statement and letters of support).
